At just 13, I found myself irresistibly drawn to stitching. In a family that valued academics above all else, this fascination felt out of place. I asked my mother, again and again, to teach me — not knowing why I felt such a deep calling toward thread and fabric. But it never left me. It lived in my fingertips and quietly settled in my heart.
As the years passed, I explored beyond the needle — into fabric painting, embroidery, clay, resin, and intricate crafts. Yet, life asked me to press pause. With deep dedication, I pursued my studies — earning two Bachelor’s degrees, two Master’s, and becoming a qualified CPA. I stepped into responsibilities, family life, and structure.
And so, my art quietly slept.

Years later, while setting my dining table for a special evening, I found myself longing for something that didn’t exist in stores. I didn’t want anything generic or flashy — I wanted elegance. Grace. Soul.
Living abroad had exposed me to modern design trends, but my roots longed for the quiet richness of Indian tradition. I couldn’t find that blend — the one that whispered royalty but felt personal. That moment became the beginning.
With my younger sister by my side, we booked our first-ever solo trip across India — not as tourists, but as seekers. We hunted for fabrics, met artisans, studied motifs, debated designs, and built something from the ground up. That trip became more than sourcing. It became a homecoming — to our values, our taste, and to a dream we'd both carried without saying it aloud.
